Dough
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
HOW TO MAKE
- Sieve the flour and salt
- Add the oil and knead the dough using water
- Knead for 5-10 minutes until a soft dough forms
- cover and keep aside
Filling
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup carrot
- 1/2 cup onions
- 1/2 cup french beans
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp soya sauce
- 1 pinch of ajinomoto
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp oil
HOW TO MAKE
- Chop all the vegetables finely
- Heat oil and saute the vegetables in it
- Add salt and ajinomoto
- Saute for 2 min
- Add sugar, pepper and soya sauce
- Mix well and saute for another min
- Set it aside to cool
How to proceed
- Divide the dough into 6 equal parts
- Make thin round sheets
- Add a tsp of the filling in each round
- Take the edges of the dough and pinch them together to seal
- Use water is the dough isn’t sticking and make sure it’s sealed
properly - Heat some oil and deep fry the wantons carefully in small batches
Serving suggestion
Tastes best witch schezwan sauce. Serve when hot.
